Social practice

We are committed to protecting the welfare and safety of workers.

Farming is recognised as a high risk activity.

There are many tasks which involve dangerous equipment and hazardous substances.  There are also other risks such as exposure to the sun, and repetitive tasks, or heavy lifting.

NZGAP supports effective health and safety systems and encourages employers and employees to work together to build a culture of good health and safety practice.
