NZGAP Terms of Reference and Committee Election 2017

The review of the NZGAP structure is now complete with the Horticulture Industry Forum on 30 November 2016, then the NZGAP Committee and the Horticulture New Zealand Board approving the new Terms of Reference.

The next stage in the establishment of the new NZGAP committee is the appointment and election of the Committee members.

Horticulture New Zealand will announce its appointed members shortly and the election of the other committee members will occur at the next Horticulture Industry Forum (HIF) meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Wellington on 30 March 2017. Up to four members are to be elected on 30 March at the HIF, two members will be appointed by the Horticulture New Zealand Board and one independent member will be appointed if required – see Term of Reference 17.1

Nominations for the Committee positions are now open and product groups and affiliate organisations are encouraged to submit their candidates using the attached nomination form:

The closing date for nominations is Monday 7 March. Candidate profiles will be circulated on Friday 17th March.
